I’m a Puerto Rican woman, a wife, a mother of two, and a teacher by profession. After more than a decade working in early childhood education and building a life with my family in the United States, I found myself walking through a season that changed me deeply.
I was navigating anxiety, strong emotions, and changes within myself that I didn’t fully understand at the time. I had to learn to ask for help, lean on the people who loved me, and slowly find my way back to myself.
Through it all, my faith became even more important. God has always been at the center of my life, and He is at the center of Hallow Glow, too.
During that season, creating with my hands became a place of peace for me. Making candles, working with different scents, and eventually creating handmade soaps gave me something I didn’t know I needed — a way to slow down, focus, create, and find little moments of calm.
What began almost as a form of therapy slowly became something more.
Hallow Glow grew alongside me.
Today, what started at home during a difficult chapter has grown into a small business, a collection of handmade candles, soaps, and rituals, and now, an online shop that I once could only imagine.
My hope is that when something from Hallow Glow reaches your home, it brings you a little of what creating it brought to mine: calm, comfort, light, and a reminder to make space for yourself.
I am deeply grateful for every person who has supported this journey, for my family who has walked beside me, and above all, I give all the glory to God for bringing me this far.
From my hands and heart to your home,
Ana
